The principle of penetration for three groups of Hydrostop materials:

1. The barrier seals the surface and many centimeters into the porous concrete. The sealing additives diffuse in the presence of moisture.	2. While curing, Hydrostop mortars seal themselves and become resistant to the destructive forces of the natural environment.	3. Injection - a horizontal and vertical barrier stops capillary moisture and absorption, therefore also stopping deterioration of walls.

 

What penetrating waterproofing materials are? Hydrostop materials share a common feature, which is osmotic transport and capillary penetration of sealants into concrete, mortars and bricks.
